Speaker: Voon Lee Shan, Parti Bumi Kenyalang President
Mission - To bring Sarawak to Independence on Parti Bumi Kenyalang platform related to White Raja's (King) 8th cardinal principle during Raja's 100 years ruling. The promise by the White Raja that one day Sarawak will seek autonomy and self governance.
The 8th Cardinal Principle is as follows:
That the goal of self-government shall always be kept in mind, that the people of Sarawak shall be entrusted in due course with the governance of themselves, and that continuous efforts shall be made to hasten the reaching of this goal by educating them in the obligations, the responsibilities, and the privileges of citizenship.
There are many ways to independence and PBK has its own peaceful way by legal means based on local constitutions as well as international laws.
You want to be independent you must be in the government. You live here and die here therefore you must protect this land. In Federal Constitutions there is nothing to say Sarawak and Sabah cannot come out of Malaysia.
On 16 Sep 1963 they said Sarawak, Sabah, Singapore and Federation of Malaya are equal partners but Malaysia is just a change of name from Federation of Malaya. When Singapore Lee Kuan Yew's terms and conditions not accepted by Federation of Malaya, Lee Kuan Yew unilaterally declared independence. Sarawak can do the same through negotiation and unilaterally declared independence in Sarawak Parliament when negotiation failed because under United Nation Resolution 1514 we should be decolonized by United Kingdom but we are never decolonised. The decolonization process has not been completed. Parti Bumi Kenyalang is here to complete the process. We are going to make sure United Nations knows that we have to be decolonized.
Malaysia Agreement 1963 is illegal, null and void because during signing of the Malaysia Agreement 1963 Sarawak and Sabah are not independent countries but still colonies of United Kingdom and not having same status as federation of Malaya which was independent from United Kingdom during the signing of the Malaysia Agreement 1963. Therefore Sarawak and Sabah could come out of Malaysia under United Nations Resolution 1514.
Therefore there is nothing to be scare when seeking independence.
Example of unilateral declaration of independence
1) Kosovo 2) Rhodesia 3) Singapore and other countries
Under United Nations when there is political oppression and/or economic differences we can always declare ourselves independent. Dayak people must be awaken and work together with Parti Bumi Kenyalang to solve NCR issues as well as to protect Sarawak rights.
Parti Bumi Kenyalang is a multi racial party for all Sarawak people. Sarawak cannot depend on GPS to gain independence and we cannot allow Malayan people to set foot here. We must keep all these Malaya political Parties out of Sarawak. After so many years we still don't have proper trunk road in Sarawak. Because of all these we can get out of Malaysia because of political and economical differences.
Another way is to bring Sarawak problems to United Nations Assembly through United Nations friendly members asking them to speak in the United Nations on Sarawak matters. If they bring up Sarawak problems in United Nations and put to vote and get advisory opinion from International Court Of Justice (ICJ), President Voon believes Sarawak and Sabah can get out of Malaysia because Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) is null and void.
