沿海地区或大雨 热带风暴袭砂沙

今年最后一个热带风暴将在接下来的两天越过菲律宾，暴风或袭击马来亚半岛东海岸，并将对沙巴、砂拉越沿海地区造成影响。根据气象局资料指出，此热带风暴或受海面气温影响而可能升级为热带台风，届时其破坏力将会更大。

Putrajaya shuns its responsibility

KUCHING, Dec 27: The Sarawak government will build three bridges over Batang Lupar, Batang Rambungan and Batang Igan by itself now that the federal government said it has no money to build them. Works Minister Baru Bian announced in Mukah recently that these three projects had to be shelved due to financial constraints.

Trainee on the job not knowing how things done?

The mind set is still of the opposition era despite the fact that he is now the deputy minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs. No doubt he is in the opposition camp in Sarawak situation but as he is the deputy minister by right he should know how federal government system works. It is so easy to get the information (two schools building specification) from JKR as well as ministry of education both are federal bodies. Making a scene on Sarawak ground on the subject matter shows he is yet to perform like a leader with required/relevant skills and responsibilities.

Syed Saddiq : I will leave Bersatu if thieves or robbers join the party

Bersatu Youth chief Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman said he would quit the party if any "thieves and robbers" were to be allowed to join the party.The Muar MP took a similar stand to other Bersatu leaders such as its chairperson Dr Mahathir Mohamad and president Muhyiddin Yassin, in that those leaving Umno for Bersatu must be vetted first on a case-by-case basis.

It is noted that the Petroleum Development Act 1974 (PDA197) is in breach of the Malaysia Agreement 1963 and the federal constitution, thus, is void. Therefore, MPs from Sarawak have a political obligation to move a Motion in Parliament to repeal PDA 1974.

Tiong: PH abolishing exams a cause for great concern

SIBU: The new education system of the Pakatan Harapan government in abolishing examinations is a cause for great concern.

In a press statement received here yesterday, Bintulu MP Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing said this was not progress that would take the nation forward.

“I am sad if this new education system in abolishing examinations is implemented; the future of our children will be destroyed.”

PETALING JAYA: Lim Kit Siang's statement that DAP would have no hesitation about leaving Pakatan Harapan is a brave one but he has proven a coward when challenged to do so, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

Public talk passes resolution, declaration on Sarawak’s rights

KUCHING, Dec 24:A public talk on Sarawak Oil Mining Ordinance (OMO) and the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) has resolved that Sarawak has ownership of its oil, gas and other natural resources over its land and seabeds, including that under the Malaysian exclusive economic zone (EEZ). The talk’s organiser, Lina Soo, said the resolution was reached unanimously during the talk that was held in Miri on Saturday (Dec 22).

Calls for Education Minister Dr Maszlee Malik to either relinguish his post or apologise to Sarawakians for his “medan dakwah” statement have gathered pace. When answering a question in Parliament recently, Maszlee appealed to religious teachers from Kelantan, Terengganu and Kedah to continue serving in Sabah and Sarawak rather than seeking a return to Peninsular Malaysia due to a critical shortage of religious teachers, especially in the state.

Legal team to sue federal govt to reclaim Sarawak’s rights next year

It is likely the talk within PH that she should be the next PM as soon as she garnish enough support from PH MP ss well as consensus from current PM.
From the performance of Anwar since release from jail and pardoned by Agong, there is nothing there that could highlight him as next PM. He remains submissive to PM and wouldn't take the risk to speak his mind when political development is against interest of rakyat. Inevitably, rakyat will look for alternative and she is there and already DPM who is in position to take over. And she is "clean" and so far no known corruption allegation.

PKR leaders deny message about Azmin and 20 other MPs jumping to Bersatu

Nowadays frogs jumping is common in Malaysia especially when "political climate" is favourable for such activity.

Association of Churches in Sarawak alarmed by Maszlee’s ‘medan dakwah’ stand

Association of Churches in Sarawak (ACS) wants the federal government to stop using public servants or teachers to carry out any form of Islamisation in Sabah and Sarawak. It also urged Putrajaya to honour their promises and undertakings of religious freedom and Borneanisation of the public service as safeguarded in the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63), the Inter-Governmental Committee (IGC) Report 1962 and the Federal Constitution.
