The Malaysian government leads in humanity and other governments in the worlds that had yet pledge to help Gaza should follow Malaysia.
To be fair, Israel also should be given help because there are also innocent people. Like the Palestines, they didn’t start the war, but, their government.
The fact that the Malaysian government is able to render help to rebuild Gaza shows that the government has lots of money or is rich, and the economy is growing and national debts had all been paid or at least been reduced greatly. We all know that the government’s money comes from taxes collected from citizens and also from business. Malaysians have paid lots of taxes. Therefore, taxes should be reduced as the government should not need much money from taxpayers at the moment.
But, humanity should also be shown to our own people. Although we don’t have wars, our people, especially, in Sarawak and in Sabah also had suffered greatly due to recent floods. We need to war against floors. The floods we are facing are the worst over the years. The loss caused to our people is huge. Many lost their crops, homes and property. This will cost them lots of money to rebuild. Public roads are also damaged and need repairs.
In view of the suffering caused by the floods to our people, in order to alleviate the hardships of people, Parti Bumi Kenyalang, called the government to immediately reduce the prices of petrol and electricity bills. We also call the government not to collect road tax and also to reduce taxes of imported goods. This will help the suffering caused by our people now.
The government also needs to know that the recent increase in salaries of government servants and increase of minimum wages to RM1700-00 in the private sector had also caused the increase of prices in many goods and services. The increase of salaries and wages did not help the people much and with that we call the government to start charity from home.
