Sarawakians have every right to know whether there was any political conspiracy to make Sarawak a gift to Malaya, thereby enlarging Malaya’s territory before it took the name Malaysia. These are not small questions. They go to the very heart of Sarawak’s history, status, rights, and future.
The people are uneasy, and rightly so. Complaints are coming to PBK because Sarawakians feel they are being kept in the dark while major questions about their homeland remain unanswered. A government that claims to defend Sarawak’s interests must be transparent and accountable to the people.
PBK insists that the matter must be properly disclosed and examined. If the facts justify it, then Sarawakians also have the right to pursue the matter through all relevant legal and international avenues. No door should be closed before the truth is known.
This is not merely about history. It is about justice, sovereignty, and the right of Sarawakian people to decide their own destiny with full knowledge of the truth.
