I. It’s Not About "Whether to Recognize," But "Why the UEC Exists"
Current debates over the recognition of the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) are often oversimplified into technicalities: Is the UEC equivalent to a national diploma? Should students take SPM Malay and History? However, detached from its historical context, the question itself is flawed. The UEC was not a "capricious choice" by the Chinese community; it was a self-preservation mechanism forced into existence by a systemic rupture.

Encik Leslie Ting Siong Ngiap, Pengerusi Parti Bumi Kenyalang (Bahagian Miri) merangkap Setiausaha Organisasi Majlis Tertinggi, menzahirkan kemarahan dan kekecewaan beliau terhadap dakwaan Datuk Bandar Miri, Adam Yii, bahawa tindakan Majlis Bandaraya Miri (MBP) merampas atau menyita durian daripada penjaja tepi jalan tanpa lesen dilakukan “mengikut prosedur operasi standard (SOP).”

Mr. Leslie Ting Siong Ngiap, Chairman of Parti Bumi Kenyalang (Miri Division) and Supreme Council Organising Secretary, expressed anger and disappointment over Miri Mayor Adam Yii’s claim that the Miri City Council’s seizure or confiscation of durians from unlicensed roadside hawkers was carried out “in accordance with standard operating procedures.”

In Malaysia Members of Parliament (MPs) and their service centres (Pusat Khidmat Ahli Parlimen)—as far as I know, including those from DAP serving in the current federal Kerajaan Madani / Mandani—cannot automatically use the federal government logo (such as the Jata Persekutuan or other official federal insignia) on their service centre signboards, unless there is explicit authorisation under the relevant government policies.

In recent days, the question of whether the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) of independent Chinese secondary schools is unconstitutional has once again become a focal point of intense attention in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, and Sarawak. Political parties from both sides of the divide, government and civil society, hold differing views. The Democratic Action Party (DAP) and Pakatan Harapan's past promises have been re-examined, with accusations of "breach of faith" difficult to refute. However, if we remain confined to the level of political party maneuvering or ethnic sentiment, the problem will never be resolved.

In recent years, the public has become increasingly concerned about the safety of personal assets, particularly money kept in banks. There have been reported cases involving online scams, cyber fraud, and even misconduct by bank officers, resulting in significant financial losses to innocent individuals.

I have received many queries from members of the public whether police officers have the right to stop them to enter the police station on ground that they were not in proper attire and whether or not to obey the order to leave the police station for not in proper attire when intending to lodge police reports tantamount to obstruction to police in the exercise of their power when on duty?

Parti Bumi Kenyalang expresses deep concern over recent developments under the GPS administration, particularly the substantial allocation in the State Budget to provide allowances to media personnel and journalists(Media Allocation)— while the poor, the homeless, farmers, and citizens forced to occupy vacant land continue to be neglected.

Today we applaud SUPP for once again delivering its signature political performance:
SUPP is a Government Party That Governs By Pretending It Isn’t in Government.
In a functioning democracy, the division of labour is simple:
Government governs. Opposition… opposes.

Sarawak govenment should not in its budget cater for payments to any federal government servants working in Sarawak. This is an unwise financial management of state finance.

Race politics has shaped Malaysia for decades — but at what long-term cost? Nations thrive when citizenship, not ethnicity, becomes the foundation of unity. As Lee Kuan Yew once said: “This is not a Malay nation, this is not a Chinese nation, this is not an Indian nation, but a nation for Singaporeans.” That clarity strengthened their national identity. This policy statement about Singapore race by Lee Kuan Yew set sight that gave confidence to all Singaporeans to unite Singaporeans together to develop Singapore to what Singapore it is now. Singapore's development is now far ahead of Malaysia.

Parti Bumi Kenyalang views with deep concern the recent action by the Malaysian Anti–Corruption Commission (MACC) in calling Mahajoth Singh—one of the lawyers representing controversial businessman Albert Tei—for investigation. This development has raised serious alarm among members of the legal fraternity and the public, as it may signal a troubling encroachment on the rights of counsels acting for accused persons or suspects in corruption cases.

The recent call by Daro Assemblyman Safiee Ahmad in the Sarawak Legislature for authorities to take action against former Law Minister Datuk Zaid Ibrahim—merely for expressing his views on the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63)—is a blatant display of political immaturity and insecurity.

Parti Bumi Kenyalang (PBK) | Sabah Sarawak Rights – Australia New Zealand (SSRANZ): Kenyataan Zaid Ibrahim Menekankan Ketidaksahan Undang-Undang MA63 dan Mengukuhkan Hak Sabah dan Sarawak untuk Penentuan Nasib Sendiri.

Seruan terbaharu oleh ADUN Daro, Safiee Ahmad, di Dewan Undangan Negeri Sarawak agar pihak berkuasa mengambil tindakan terhadap bekas Menteri Undang-Undang, Datuk Zaid Ibrahim—hanya kerana menyuarakan pandangannya mengenai Perjanjian Malaysia 1963 (MA63)—adalah satu pameran jelas ketidakmatangan dan ketidakamanan politik.
