全砂酒店业受到经济不景气冲击,导致业者纷纷辞退员工以减轻成本及负担,甚至连多间星级酒店的管理层高职亦出现“悬空”现象!
来自酒店业者的消息指出,全砂的酒店业掀起辞退员工潮,本地的星级酒店甚至辞退将近三份之一的员工,多间酒店管理层更缺乏总经理坐镇,据说这些高职都是在近年不景气时陆续“辞职”。
高职悬空减负担
消息来源指出,去年砂拉越的酒店业生意狂跌,行情一年不如一年。从移民厅的入境纪录数据显示,今年首2个月入境美里机场的人次4万9119人,而前往姆鲁国家公园的人次,今年首2个月只有374人,旅客少得可怜。
