In a recent commentary, Voon Lee Shan, President of Parti Bumi Kenyalang, addressed remarks made by the Speaker of Sarawak's Assembly regarding the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63). The Speaker claimed that Sarawak signed the agreement as a nation, asserting its status as a defined territory with a government and permanent population.

Melbourne, September 14, 2024 – Three prominent advocacy organizations, Sabah Sarawak Rights Australia New Zealand (SSRANZ), Republic of Sabah North Borneo (RSNB), and Sabah Sarawak Keluar Malaysia (SSKM), will unite to stage a peaceful demonstration in front of the Victorian Parliamentary building. The event is scheduled to coincide with the 61st anniversary of what these groups refer to as "Malaysia's occupation" of Sabah and Sarawak since September 16, 1963.
PETRONAS' intention to resort to court in a bid to maintain control over the trading and extraction of gas and oil-related products in Sarawak’s territory represents a humiliating, cruel and unjust attempt to seize what is not theirs. This blatant move disregards the special autonomy and inherent rights of the people of Sarawak under both domestic and international law, furthering a legacy of exploitation and marginalization that has persisted for decades.
PETRONAS is a creation by the Malaysian Parliament by way of the Petroleum Development Act 1974(PDA74). Malaysian Parliament is supreme and has the power to pass, amend and repeal laws and therefore, to say PETRONAS disregard the rights of Sabah and Sarawak to the oil and gas resources off the shores of Sabah and Sarawak is legally not correct.

Robert Pei, President of Sabah Sarawak Rights Australia New Zealand (SSRANZ) NGO, answers questions on MA63 implementation.
1. WHAT DO YOU THINK NOW OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT'S PROGRESS IN IMPLEMENTING THE FULL ESSENCE OF MA63 FOR SARAWAK?
The Federal Government faces significant challenges in fully implementing the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) due to numerous unconstitutional alterations that have shifted the agreed Malaysia concept from a secular multi-cultural state to one dominated by race and religion.
If police are not confident in ensuring their own safety and security inside their own police stations, then, how could police expect to command confidence of the public that they are able to keep peace and ensure public security in the country?

Public Funds is for spending on public projects and the government should not be allowed or misuse public funds to print posters and billboards showing images of ministers and politicians. This tantamount to "stealing public funds" for personal interest.
The title of Head of State of Sarawak should be dignified and the Head of State should not be addressed as Tuan Yang Terutama (TYT) as it is presently.
Most politicians in power and academics are painting about Malaysia is a federation and MA63 is a valid treaty. This is a deception and a great sin. All will be judged before the Divine Court of our deeds on this planet.

KUCHING, June 5: Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) should seek an amendment to the Sarawak Constitution to prohibit peninsular-based political parties from operating in Sarawak if the party is serious about getting rid of their presence in the region.
Malaysia is a federation, not a country. The federal constitution in Article 1(1) states that, " The Federation shall be known, in Malay and in English, by the name Malaysia.". It doesn't say Malaysia is a country.
(KUCHING, May 6 - DayakDaily) Parti Bumi Kenyalang (PBK) and Sabah Sarawak Rights Australia New Zealand (SSRANZ), an international NGO based in Australia, issued a joint statement calling on Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg to rename Sarawak as the “Republic of Sarawak”.
Parti Bumi Kenyalang (PBK) had forged some loose cooperation with Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) during the last 15th Parliamentary Elections (15PRU). It is learnt that PSB has officially dissolved and their former members are invited to join a component party of Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS). It is learnt that the dissolved PSB had about 80,000 members.
The task of the police is when a criminal case is reported, they are duty bound to investigate the case. They cannot pick and choose what case to investigate. Their obligations to investigate crimes case and to protect national security and public safety is mentioned in the Police Act 1967.
Sarawak is the state with the highest percentage of Christians in Malaysia and the only state with a Christian majority. According to the 2020 census, Christians make up 50.1% of the population of Sarawak. Protestants, mostly Anglicans, make up the majority, followed by more than 441,300 Catholics, but, despite Sarawak is only state in Malaysia that has most Christians, the government had not given Easter as a holiday since it falls on Sunday. Since Easter falls on Sunday, Monday should be given a holiday by the government.
Parti Bumi Kenyalang calls for the Ministry of National Unity (KPN) under this Unity Government be scrapped. The money to run this ministry could be better put to use to boost the economy and to uplift poverty in the rural areas. The allocations could also be put to better use to help poor school children in town and rural areas.
1. During many of our discourses on the common problem facing Sabah and Sarawak here in Kuching, we find it opportune time to again call on both the Borneon states to expedite the re-establishment of the para military Border Scout in both states.
