Malaysia is just a change of name in United Nations from federation of Malaya to a new name Malaysia. Malaysia is never a new country. Anyone can search in United Nations website to find the details. The federal constitution of Malaysia is based on federation of Malaya Agreement 1957 and not based on Malaysia Agreement 1963.

Malaysia Agreement 1963 supposed to replace current federal Constitution but it has been cold storaged and not honored. Until Malaysia Agreement 1963 honored by federal government fully with Sarawak and Sabah having 1 third representation each in Parliament and void all Acts, Laws, ordinance, regulations against Malaysia Agreement 1963, Sarawak and Sabah perceived by Borneo people as colonials of federation of Malaya and you could not blame Sarawak and Sabah people wanting to restore their rights, especially oil and gas rights, to the fullest.

Life in Sarawak and Sabah getting tougher with no sign of federal government fulfilling 509 election promises. Instead of helping people to lessen the burden on their shoulders more taxes imposed.

Removing GST with the excuse of lessen burden to Malaysia people but SST introduction proved making people much poorer than GST implementation. Previously after 5 years no property gain tax payable now any landed properties transaction, even transfer of lands from parents to children, subject to property gain tax of 5%. All Sarawak and Sabah taxes go to federal government and during 509 election campaign PH Sarawak promised if they become federal government, Sarawak government no need to beg and ADUN need not have to jump to PH Sarawak because 20% oil and gas loyalty will be given to Sarawak government automatically even Sarawak government is under BN, and 50% of all taxes collected from Sarawak will be returned to Sarawak. Unfortunately after more than one year 509 election promises become broken promises. Malaysia Prime Minister Tun Datuk Mahathir said 509 election manifesto is not Bible, so Sarawak and Sabah people should not rekindle the wishes, aspirations and spirits of territories for territories people?

Think as Malaysians, Dr M tells Sabah and Sarawak

SEPANG: Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad today urged Sabahans and Sarawakians to think as Malaysians following criticisms that Putrajaya did not consult East Malaysia over several issues.

Mahathir said the “Sabah for Sabahans” and “Sarawak for Sarawakians” mentality was unhealthy, adding that everyone should think of themselves as Malaysians and not individual territories.

“I would like to remind everyone that we are all Malaysians.

“We may live in Sabah or Sarawak or in the peninsula, but we are Malaysians,” he said.

Prior to this, the Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) urged the federal government to give Sarawak full autonomy over education policies following a decision to introduce lessons on khat calligraphy in vernacular primary schools from next year.

It was also reported that the Sabah Progressive Party, Parti Bersatu Sabah and Liberal Democratic Party supported Chinese educationist group Dong Zong’s stance in opposing the introduction of khat.

The federal government also drew flak after Prof Taufiq Yap Yun Hin’s appointment as Universiti Malaysia Sabah vice-chancellor, a decision which was made without consulting the state government.
