It could not be denied that there are too many people born in Sarawak not have identity cards. Many said they have applied but their application had not been entertained by the government. It seems that caused by concern from activists over this issue, the government had recently had sent teams to the ground to tame steps to get them issued with birth certificates and identity cards
A few days ago a young man was found dead at the carpark of an apartment in Jalan Tun Jugah, Kuching, Sarawak. The case was classified as sudden death. Yesterday a family member of the deceased suspected that there was a foul play and lodged a police report about the matter. The family was desperate and asked me for help because they do not know how to communicate with the police to get the suspects arrested.

In past one year, there were many discussions and debates about the office governorship of Sarawak. I observed Dayak community is calling for a Dayak to be the next governor of Sarawak in the event our governor retires.
For Sarawak politics, the manifesto is "money", and you cannot move around without money. Elections in Sarawak, especially, in rural areas, it is about merrymaking. People prefer dancing and get drunk and talking about issues about politics and and how to move forward are not matters that could be understood by voters.
Malaysia needs an effective government agency to fight corruption. Stiff penalty alone against offenders is not enough. The law should broaden its nets to catch other acts that gives "free lunch" to people by politicians and governments.
