It seems that caused by concern from activists over this issue, the government had recently had sent teams to the ground to tame steps to get them issued with birth certificates and identity cards

PBK had a loose collaboration with PSB during the last Malaysian General Elections. We thought it could be a starting point for shaping the political scenario in Sarawak and had hoped the collaboration would last but it did not work the way we wanted.

Sarawak funding for religion should stop unless there is transparency and fairness over the matter. Over the years since Unit for Other Religions (UNIFOR) had been set-up, the Sarawak government under GPS had annual allocations to other religions. People of other religions, especially, the Buddhists or Christians seemed happy about it and for 2024 Premier had announced that he had allocated RM110 million for Sarawak’s Unit for Other Religions.

A few days ago a young man was found dead at the carpark of an apartment in Jalan Tun Jugah, Kuching, Sarawak. The case was classified as sudden death. Yesterday a family member of the deceased suspected that there was a foul play and lodged a police report about the matter. The family was desperate and asked me for help because they do not know how to communicate with the police to get the suspects arrested.

Political parties from Malaya are not welcome to interfere with the affairs of people of Sarawak, especially, concerning immigration matters and allowing foreigners to seek refuge here. There is no reason to accept refugees in Sarawak. We need to take care of our own poor. It is not easy to give food and accommodation to refugees and we should not accommodate them.

Although with very limited resources and manpower, PBK. still won't give up. For Sarawak politics, the manifesto is "money", and you cannot move around without money. I was asked to raise the concern of Sarawakians of the possibility by the GPS government to turn the position of TYT Sarawak a Sultan. Technically, at the moment, Sarawak has no opposition voice in the DUN and with its full control of the Dewan Undangan Negeri, Sarawakians should not discount the possibility of GPS government, abuse its democratic power, to amend the Sarawak Constitution to turn the Head of State of Sarawak be called a Sultan.

The Constitution allows the practice of democracy but by calling PBK not to contest in the Jepak By-election shows that PBB and GPS are moving towards dictatorship. This Sarawakpass digital ID will be used for various dealings with the government, public transport, payment, buying and selling and for various other daily affairs of the people.

The call by the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) chief whip, who is also the Deputy Prime Minster, Fadillah Yusof to suggest that the GPS candidate be allowed to walk free to retain the Jepak Seat unopposed in the state elections is “a way to kill democracy”. Politicians and people of high places should not directly or indirectly be seen to be involved in law enforcement or how law enforcement officers should conduct their work. They should be extra careful with their comments as any comments they made especially on arrest of a rival politician can be twisted and become a weapon against them. It could be a silly mistake if the government will fall because of the arrest.

(DayakDaily - KUCHING, May 25) The Kuching High Court today struck out a lawsuit filed by 11 Sarawakians seeking to invalidate the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63).Judicial Commissioner Alexander Siew How Wai, in delivering his judgement, deemed the subject matter “unsustainable”, apart from pointing out that the 11 Sarawakians have no loci standi in bringing up the case.

The MA63 suit filed in court is utmost important to determine the future of Sabah and Sarawak. If the MA63 is declared null and void or could be invalidated due to willful breaches, the federation could be dissolved. But the political will of the GPS government is to see Sarawak stay in Malaysia.
