A few days ago a young man was found dead at the carpark of an apartment in Jalan Tun Jugah, Kuching, Sarawak. The case was classified as sudden death. Yesterday a family member of the deceased suspected that there was a foul play and lodged a police report about the matter. The family was desperate and asked me for help because they do not know how to communicate with the police to get the suspects arrested.

Technically, at the moment, Sarawak has no opposition voice in the DUN and with its full control of the Dewan Undangan Negeri, Sarawakians should not discount the possibility of GPS government, abuse its democratic power, to amend the Sarawak Constitution to turn the Head of State of Sarawak be called a Sultan.

They should be extra careful with their comments as any comments they made especially on arrest of a rival politician can be twisted and become a weapon against them. This is not an agenda in MA63. After Malaysia was formed, Malaya quickly imposed this on Sabah and Sarawak. The first step was to ensure the governor is a Muslim. Later on it was the chief minister's and state secretary's posts followed by most top posts in the administration. Given the present political scenario, it is difficult to reverse this. This is because we had allowed it to happen and had failed to protect our own rights and interests.

Prime minister had announced that if Aidilfitri falls on Saturday, the additional public holiday will be fixed for Friday, while the Raya public holiday falls on Monday.
